Job seekers in Vasse now have the opportunity to secure a career at Coles, with the supermarket looking for 100 new team members for the new store on Napolean Promenade.
Store Manager Lindsay Hill said he was hopeful of welcoming a diverse range of people and skills to the team.
“We are looking to fill a variety of roles throughout all departments of the store including, but not limited to, service, fresh produce, meat, grocery, night fill as well as bakers and butchers,” he said.
The new Vasse store is part of an investment by Coles of more than $120 million in Western Australia over 18 months, creating more than 1200 construction jobs and around 850 retail jobs.
Coles regional manager Mike Scott said the team was making a conscious effort to recruit as many local people as possible for the 100 new positions to boost employment in Vasse and the surrounding suburbs.
The store will also have a Liquorland attached.
