AN UNBEATEN 83 from Adam Fabo led Nannup to a comfortable win over YOBS when the timber town finally got to play C-Grade cricket last Saturday.
Winners of the first two games of the season by virtue of forfeit, Nannup dismissed YOBS for 158 at Churchill Park with Ben Lullfitz claiming 5-40. Fabo then led his side home with seven overs and seven wickets to spare. St Marys secured a five-wicket win over Hawks in Margaret River thanks to an excellent all-round effort from Tyler Campbell, who took 3-38 and then hit 57 runs. Left-hander Alastair Wilkie emulated this performance for Hawks by scoring 56 and taking 3-27. Braden Warnke’s effort of 4-17 and 52 runs led Augusta to a lop-sided win over Vasse at Bovell Park, while Dunsborough claimed a win on forfeit over Cowaramup in the other fixture game.
