Festive family fun will be the focus of the 2017 Busselton Christmas Lights Tour on Tuesday, December 19.
It is the fourth year Gannaways Charters and Tours have held the event and director Ray Gannaway said the tour was built for families and to keep the Santa spirit alive.
“We can’t survive without the community and this is just a fun thing to do for them at this time of year,” he said.
“Christmas is a great time of year, no matter what your beliefs are – I love what it does for families.”
The tour is a gold coin donation per person.
The money raised will be donated to a local charity in the new year.
In 2016, donations went towards new surfboards for the Disabled Surfers Association South West.
Gannaways staff will decide together which local organisation will benefit from the funds raised.
Around 10 coaches will be set aside for the event and all drivers involved are volunteering their time for the tour.
Mr Gannaway encouraged all ages to sign up for the night out.
“For some people it can be a bit of fun after a year of work, it can be something families do together, or for something for seniors who don’t get a chance to get out at night,” he said.
The tour will run for approximately two hours with Christmas carols and singalongs played along the way.
Coaches will depart from the Old Visitor Centre, Peel Terrace at 7.30pm.
Bookings must be made prior to the date, online at gannaways.com.au.
Register your home for the Mail’s Christmas Lights Trail to be featured along the route.
