The Christmas spirit continues at St Mary’s Anglican Church with volunteers preparing to host their sixth Christmas Day lunch and wanting to welcome the community to join them.
Parish administrator John Morris said everyone was welcome to join the festivities especially those who were in need, who might be on their own this Christmas or those who no longer had family here.
“Santa will be there on the day. Every child who comes along will receive a Christmas present - actually, everyone receives a Christmas present,” he said.
This year marks the sixth annual Christmas Day lunch at St Mary’s which is also supported by the City of Busselton.
Each year around 200 and 300 people attend with many simply having their families away, said Mr Morris.
The Christmas Day lunch will be held from 12pm at St Mary’s Family Centre, 119 Queen Street, Busselton.
Anyone who would like to attend are asked to book by phoning 9754 3775 or feel free to turn up on the day.
