A jam-packed schedule didn’t stop Santa Claus joining the Sussex Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade to spread some Christmas cheer on December 22.
The brigade held its inaugural Christmas lolly run through Provence and Via Vasse estates, with a convoy of fire utilities lead by Father Christmas himself.
Close to 400 lolly bags were handed out to children from the estates.
The event was sponsored by Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Woolworths Busselton, and Craven Foods.
Sussex Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade captain Mark Coppendale thanked the community for their donations and embracing the event.
“It was great to see so many families sitting out the front of their houses and talking with their neighbors,” he said.
