All things ocean and beach will be the theme of many events at the Festival of Busselton.
The sea-themed fun kicks off this Saturday, January 13 when the STS Leeuwin II docks at the Busselton Jetty.
WA’s very own tall ship will arrive around midday, and a children’s pirate dress-up competition will be held on Sunday, January 14 at 9am.
Guided tours of the vessel will be available following the competition from 10am to 2pm for a gold coin donation.
Under the sea vibes will continue on Tuesday, January 16 with the screening of Disney Pixar hit Finding Dory at Dawson Park, Vasse from 7.30pm.
A gold coin donation is requested and bring chairs or picnic rugs is encouraged.
On Friday, January 19, Busselton Library will host Arrr is for Adventure, a pirate adventure show starring Pirateman Michael Speranza.
Bookings are essential for the free event.
The ocean inspired fun will wrap up with a sand castle competition on jetty beach between Equinox Restaurant and The Goose on Sunday, January 21.
Registrations will be held at 1.45pm and plenty of prizes are up for grabs.
