Wilyabrup growers of organic and biodynamic grapes, Blind Corner, has appointed experienced hotel manager Paul Maley to drive the company’s push towards global recognition.
Mr Maley said he was looking forward to building on the success of the winery, and embracing innovative strategies to better promote organic wines to a wider audience.
“I am confident we have the right team in place to be able to offer a premium WA product that is a little different from the norm,” he said.
After 10 years of managing the Brisbane and Boulevard Hotels in Perth, Mr Maley said he was looking forward to a new challenge in a region he knew well.
Blind Corner owner Ben Gould said it was great to have someone like Paul come on board with his proven track record in building quality businesses.
“He also gets what we are trying to achieve, and has a vision on how to get there. We look forward to making our wines even more accessible to real wine lovers around Australia and the world,” he said.
