AUGUSTA won the tussle of the top two sides when they easily overpowered Dunsborough in C-grade cricket at Augusta Oval on Saturday.
Batting first, Augusta compiled 170 with skipper Tyson Warnke leading the way with a fine 87.
Dunsborough were then rolled for 50, with Braden Warnke taking 4-17 and Bernie Feenan 3-14.
As a result, Dunsborough and Augusta are now level with 82 points apiece at the top of the C-Grade points table.
Nannup held on to third place when they defeated Vasse in a good contest at the Vasse Oval.
Nannup compiled a strong total of 6-193 from their 40 overs with Adam Fabo (73) and Ben Lullfitz (36) the top contributors.
Vasse responded with 6-171, skipper Dylan Sieber striking 69.
St Marys easily had the better of YOBS, scoring 7-166 and then bowling out YOBS for 66. Jake Hand took 4-13 for Saints.
In the final game Margaret River Hawks notched 7-237 with skipper Al Wilkie hitting 82.
Cowaramup were then dismissed for 68, with young Finn Barrett-Lennard top-scoring with 17 runs.
