The launch event for the LiveLighter Busselton Fringe Festival will be held this Saturday, February 3.
The event will include the release of the official program and words from festival director Russell Chandler.
Busselton Fringe will run from February 23 to March 3.
The vibrant festival will feature street theatre, stand-up comedy, visual art, musical theatre and burlesque.
Comedienne and local lass Brodi Snook will bring her new show ‘Babe’ to town, Fringe favourites The Big Hoo Haa will take improvisation to the next level and funnyman Dave Callan will re-enact famous video clips from recent history.
Music and theatre lovers will be in for a treat with the shows ABBAcadabra and Blast from the Past Burlesque.
Local choirs will also have their chance to shine in concert and acting group Wild Capers will perform Alan Bennett’s famous ‘Talking Heads’.
Venues will include Acting Up studio, Busselton Jetty, The Weld Theatre and ArtGeo Cultural Complex, which will be transformed in to Fringe Central.
Those wanting to ‘fringe binge’ can buy a Buffet Pass for $70, which entitles holders to four shows and priority seating.
The launch will be held from 5.30pm at The Weld Theatre.
