A professional development in spiritual care will be held for aged care organisations, their staff, volunteers and community members on Thursday, March 1.
The Busselton workshops are being hosted by Meaningful Ageing's WA member Baptistcare and will cover the topics of supporting older people in the transition to care and conversations about end of life.
The workshops will be led by Kim Thoday, a residential care spiritual care practitioner who has also worked with people with dementia.
The seminars are open to all aged care services and volunteers as well as community members who may be interested in the sessions.
The workshops will be held at William Carey Court residential care facility.
