Emergency services have responded to a small bushfire in the wetlands near Busselton which is now under control.
A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said crews and helicopters responded to a report of smoke in the area.
The spokesperson said because the fire was in the wetland area helicopters were deployed and dropped water on the “small” fire.
Fire service crews from the City of Busslton and volunteer groups gained access to the scene and the fire was under control at 10.25am on Thursday.
There are currently five crews attending the scene from the Department of Parks and Wildlife, the city and volunteer fire crews from Busselton.
