Multiculturalism will be celebrated in the region today and this weekend as part of Harmony Week.
On Wednesday, March 21, a morning tea and open play day will be held at Goodstart Early Learning Centre for children five and under from 9.30am.
The centre aims to promote cultural understanding through playing and sharing food from around the world.
Children at the centre have been participating in a Harmony Week themed activity every day in the lead up to the event.
On Saturday, March 24, the Beerfarm in Metricup will host Brazilian band Xoxote as part of its Harmony Week celebration Festa Forro.
Dance classes and international food specials will also be on offer at the free event, which kicks off at 3pm.
On Sunday, March 25, the South West Harmony Festival will be held at Georgiana Molloy Anglican School from 1pm.
The huge afternoon will include workshops, cultural dances, music performance and traditional dishes.
