Yallingup’s Indian Ocean Longboard Club held its second club contest of the year at Yallingup last Saturday.
At a meeting before the surfing began Dunsborough’s Paul Bourke was elected president.
Former president Andrew Bland stepped down after three years at the helm.
The contest was held in small windy conditions although this did little to diminish the enthusiasm of the competitors.
Adam Lane won the raw score division from Jacob McIver and Doug Curruthers.
Steve Raynor took out the handicap event from Mick Coleman, Amanda Curley and Ray Holden.
The next contest will be held at Yallingup on Saturday, April 21 before the winter break.
