Busselton youth will have a variety of activities to choose from at this Saturday’s South West Youth Festival, including a creative project with a difference.
SHIFT Youth Crew and the City of Busselton have transformed an impounded car to become a blank canvas for an art activity.
Bright markers will be supplied and the colourful makeover will be facilitated by artists, who will pass on their expertise to participants.
Other festival activities include a chill out zone, DJ entertainment, giant jenga, juggling and a cultural dance workshop.
There will also be a mindfulness session, freestyle drumming and a hip hop workshop.
The cultural dance, rap and hip hop workshops will kick of at 10.30am, with the rest of the activities commencing at 12.15pm.
The South West Youth Festival will mark the end of National Youth Week, a celebration and acknowledgement of young people.
The drug and alcohol free event is for the whole family and will be held at the Busselton Youth Precinct.
