Busselton sailor Kai Cloman has travelled half way around the world to compete in Barcelona at the Nacra 15 World Championships.
Colman and his crew member Georgia Payne, aged 15 and 16, have been in Spain all week preparing with the rest of the Australian team to represent the county in a world class sailing competition.
After qualifying in Queensland earlier this year they stepped up to move onto the world stage for the next series of international competitions which will also see them travel to Italy and the USA.
Colmon came off the back of the prestigious Marina Bay Cup in Singapore late last year, where he competed in the SM40's mono hulls.
The Nacra 15 World Championship is due to finish on Friday, April 27.
