NRL 2018: Rd 8 in 25 photos

The NRL might just have celebrated the Anzac Day round of footy, but thoughts are never far away from State of Origin.

The Broncos – and Queensland – received some optimistic news after Josh McGuire’s latest medical.

He could be fit to suit up  for Queensland in the opening match of the  series on June 6.

The good news was despite anterior ligament  problems, he did not damage his previously-ruptured Achilles tendon.
