UPDATE: Police have confirmed homicide detectives are investigating the deaths of seven people – three adults and four children – after being called to a residence in Osmington at 5.15am on Friday morning.
Police have launched a major investigation near the South West town of Margaret River on Friday after an alleged shooting incident in the town of Osmington.
Specialist units from Perth, including the Homicide Squad and Forensic Crime Scene Unit, have deployed to the scene. Police are expected to remain at the residence for an extended period of time.
Two firearms have been located at the scene. At this point in time there are no concerns about wider public safety.
