It’s our favourite time of the week – a chance to reflect on the changes in our region, the faces and the fun that was being had 10 years ago this week.

Making headlines 10 years ago, former MPs Barry House and Troy Buswell called for an independent inquiry into the financial dealings between the Busselton Shire and State Government over the jetty restoration. 

The Busselton Shire council voted to postpone a decision on amending the town planning scheme to ban the establishment of brothels.

A helicopter was used to ship in bales of hay for the Yallingup Land Conservation District Committee  to stabilise two large blow outs in the sand dunes of Cape Clairault at Injidup Point.

In the South West Football League, the Magpies failed to deliver in another match which was their’s for the taking. 

The Robins Hockey Club celebrated their 50th anniversary at the Busselton hockey stadium.
