This year 750 residents from Busselton to Augusta will receive a complimentary pair of tickets to the Margaret River Gourmet Escape village at Leeuwin Estate on Sunday, November 18.
Residents keen to take up the offer should register online at gourmetescape.com.au/local from Saturday, 30 June.
The free tickets are limited, so organisers advise registering quickly to avoid disappointment before they close on July 16 or once the allocation is exhausted.
Event director Katrina King said while this year’s festival program and talent was still to be announced, Gourmet Village visitors could expect a feast of food, wine, beer and entertainment experiences.
Ms King said they would announce this year’s talent line-up and program in July, but could confirm that stars of the culinary world would feature in pop up events, workshops, demonstrations, conversations and signings across the village over the weekend.
“There’ll be an array of restaurants, hands-on food and beverage experiences, live music and more. It’s a foodie’s dream!” she said.
The Gourmet Village is family-friendly - children under 16 will receive free entry all weekend and there will be plenty of activities to keep them entertained, including kids cooking and gardening activities.
Successful applicants will be emailed by July 30 with confirmation of whether they have been successful and tickets will be emailed closer to the event.
