The Southern River Band were only recently in this part of the world but they return this month to share their latest rock ‘n’ roll masterpieces.
The four-piece have just wrapped up supporting US rockers Radio Moscow on their Australian tour.
Their time on the road followed a month of hibernation in RADA studios working on their second album.
They venture to the South West to share their new singles, Vice City and Chimney.
Frontman Callum Kramer described their tracks as simply ‘good time music’.
“That is pretty much the natural thing for us and the only way we really know how to do it,” he said.
The bands’ performances are raved about and earned them WAM Most Popular Live Act nominations in 2016 and 2017.
After eight years together, Kramer said their musicianship had gone up a notch.
“There are now things we are able to do as band that we couldn’t before,” he said.
“Everything is firing and it is just getting better and better.”
The Southern River Band play The Prince of Wales Hotel on Thursday, July 19.
Tickets are available from the venue.
