Recent research from Booking.com has revealed that the average Australian traveller’s preferred accommodation type is self-catering stays, with over 87 per cent of respondents choosing home stays or B&B-styles of accommodation.
In addition, the research showed 39 per cent of respondents prefer to do their own cooking and cleaning when on holiday.
But the research also showed that a third of Australians are not talking their full annual leave each year, and 86 percent of respondents revealed they have experienced physical or mental burn out from not taking a break.
