Hotter Than Hell festival announces Dunsborough date

Summer temperatures are set to rise with the announcement that a monster naional touring festival will visit the region.

Hotter Than Hell has picked Dunsborough as the newest location on its touring circuit.

The line-up boasts Australian rock royalty Spiderbait, Jebediah, Magic Dirt and 28 Days.

Magic Dirt are to re-form especially for the tour. It will be the first time they have regrouped in more than a decade.

Fremantle favourites and down south regulars, The Tommyhawks, will support the line-up.

Last year, Hotter Than Hell embarked on its devilish maiden voyage bringing sold-out festivals to punters across the country.

The tour reunited some of Australia’s biggest rock acts of the 90s and noughties for the first time since the classic era of festivals such as Livid, Homebake and Big Day Out.

Festival organisers said there had been an overwhelming demand for the first Hotter Than Hell.

“Bringing together iconic Aussie rock and taking it to places that often get overlooked by the touring circuit has proven that Australians want their rock and Hotter Than Hell is committed to be the institution that will keep the fire burning year after year,” they said.

The event will hit Dunsborough Tavern on February 23. Tickets are $79 and go on sale on August 16. For more information, visit
