Margaret River Orchid Society Spring Show

Orchid enthusiasts will have their wares on display at the annual Margaret River Orchid Society Spring Show.

The event will be held at Watershed Winery on the corner of the  Bussell Highway and Darch Road from 10am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday, September 8 and 9.

The theme for this year’s show is forest art, with many beautiful flowers highlighted in picture frames. 

Plant sales will be held on Saturday only with prices starting from just a few dollars. 

President Rick Winch will also be holding potting demonstrations each day at 11.30am and welcomes questions on any aspect of growing and showing orchids.

Visitors are welcome for an entry price of $3 for adults and children under 12 years are free.

The Margaret River Orchid Society is a small club and welcome new members, meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at the Margaret River Community Resource Centre.

 The winery will be open for lunch, coffee, cake and wine tastings.
