Busselton Senior High School students will be whipping up a storm in the kitchen, thanks to the Great Ocean Road – Careers made here - Cheese Your Own Creation programme.
In teams of two students were required to design a creative dairy snack.
The student chefs then developed a recipe of their new creation, the recipe and photo is submitted to be judged adn winners will be included in the 2019 Warrnambool Cheese and Butter Calendar.
Cheese Your Own Creation involves hundreds of students and teachers from 50 schools across Australia. It is offered as a curricular activity within the school’s Food Technology classes.
Great Ocean Road senior brand manager Briony Wringe said Cheese Your Own Creation made important links between the dairy industry, school and local community.
“We are proud to support Cheese your own Creation, it’s a great opportunity for students to get creative while learning about the wide range of career opportunities in the dairy industry.”
