The Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre in Busselton held dress like a farmer day to help raise money for the drought-stricken farmers in the Eastern States.
The children raised $65 which Coles will double, with Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre director Shannon Burns stating it was one of the most successful fundraisers they had.
“The drought has really connected to the community and to the families as well,” she said.
“Many of the children had heard about the drought through the Coles campaign.”
At the end of August, Coles had donated more than $5 million towards the CWA drought relief effort to help the farmers. Coles will match every dollar until the end of this month.
