St John Ambulance Nannup Sub Centre will celebrate its 60th anniversary of inauguration to the day on October 20.

To celebrate the occasion, the sub centre will host an afternoon tea for all past and present volunteers.

Past volunteers will have the opportunity to view the latest ambulances and compare them to the vehicles they worked with, including a stretched Holden Station wagon.

New St John Ambulance WA chief executive officer Michelle Fyfe will be in attendance.

The sub centre currently has 13 operational members, one support volunteer and five non-operational members.

In 2017, they attended 174 call outs including inter-hospital transfers from Nannup, Augusta, Pemberton, Manjimup and Bridgetown to Bunbury, Busselton and Fiona Stanley Hospital.

The anniversary afternoon tea will be held at Nannup Bowling Club at 2pm.

Past volunteers are asked to RSVP to either, 0427560107 or SJA.nannup@westnet.com.au.
