Busselton Year 12 students celebrated their graduations over the last week.
School is officially out for VET students, while ATAR students began their exams on Monday.
At Cape Naturaliste College, Jasmin Fussell was presented with the VET Dux award, which recognises the Vocational Education and Training student who has achieved the highest overall results.
Lucas Wiltshire-Skipper was awarded the ATAR Dux as the student with the highest predicted ATAR.
Baxter Hutchinson was awarded the Caltex medal for the Best All Rounder which recognises leadership, commitment and achievement in an academic and sporting context and on behalf of others.
At Busselton Senior High School, Ella Johnson was awarded the Libby Mettam Citzenship award.
Scott Miller was name ATAR Dux and Spilsbury-Slee won the VET Dux.
For Cornerstone Christian College, the Dux of 2018 was Emily Norris, and the Top of VET was Melat Cohen.
Caltex All rounder was Elijah Tilbee and the Forrest Medal winner was Taesha Lane.
The ADF Leadership award went to Morgan Pitt and ECU Personal Excellence Award went to Jessica Tran.
Almost 15,400 WA secondary students will sit at least one written Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) examination in the next three weeks.
Students can access their personal results online from Monday, December 17.
Education and Training Minister Sue Ellery wished students the best for the exam period.
“While this is a nerve-wracking time, I urge students to remember there is always more than one way to achieve their goals if they don’t get the examination results they’re looking for.
“Whether they decide to pursue further education, training opportunities or join the workforce, all students can be proud of what they have already achieved.”
