The City of Busselton and The People Place have combined to help new residents in getting to know the area and the services on offer.
A free cheese and wine night is the first of four events that will take place on Thursday, November 8 from 6pm to 7.30pm at The People Place on 19-21 Kent Street, Busselton.
The People Place chief executive officer Rilla Beresford said they wanted to create greater connections and assist newer residents discover the benefits of living in Busselton.
“We want them to meet some of the town’s leaders and service providers, and build relationships to further the city’s desire for a connective society,” she said.
“It’s not just a wonderful city with all the warmth of a friendly precinct, it’s a place where we can all contribute to the development of a vibrant community.”
The night will feature Happ’s wine and local cheeses and a meet and great with long term residents, city leaders and service providers.
