Geographe Bay Music will hold its annual presentation night this month and the public are invited to attend.
The evening will showcase all bands and ensembles from Geographe Bay Music, which is comprised of talent music students from Busselton Senior High School, Cape Naturaliste College and the city’s five public primary schools.
The free concert will also include the world premiere of a piece written especially for Symphonic Wind 1.
The piece was composed by Busselton Senior High School graduate Isaac Whiteside.
Titled CLRS, the work highlights the different, colourful aspects of the band.
Geographe Bay Music director Nicky Hair said it would be a very special evening for all involved.
“We perform throughout the year but this is the big one,” she said.
“This is one of the best groups to come through and because it is the end of the year they are playing their best.”
The presentation night will be held on Wednesday, November 28 at 6pm in the Busselton Senior High School gym.
