Yallingup surfers Emma Cattlin, 16 and Otis North, 12 are heading to SA to represent WA in the Australian national junior surfing competition.
The Surf Dive n Ski Australian Junior Surfing Titles will be held around Victor Harbour, SA from December 1 to 8.
Each year a different state gets the chance to host this elite level competition with the best surfers from around the country battling it out in intense competition.
Yallingup Boardriders Club Shane Smith said both Yallingup Boardriders were in great form in the lead-up to the comp.
“We wish them all the best in their heats and most of all that they enjoy the experience, grow from it and share it with the other board riders,” he said.
“As a club we are committed to developing and training our members in the art of competitive surfing, heading to the nationals is a great opportunity”.
Emma and Otis will both miss the much awaited Yallingup Boardriders 2018 presentations day at Caves House on Saturday.
“The 2018 Club Champions are top secret until the ceremony but we’ll keep them posted,” he said.
