Lifesavers have closed Yallingup Beach due to a shark sighting.
The decision was made around 3.30pm on December 31 after the shark was spotted by the Westpac Lifesaving Helicopter.
The chopper reported a 3 metre white shark 50 metres offshore at Slippery Rock, Yallingup.
The shark was tracking north.
