The region’s up-and-coming musical dynamos will go head to head this weekend as part of the City of Busselton’s annual Battle of the Bands competition.
Organised by the city’s SHIFT Youth Crew, and supported by Rio Tinto, Battle of the Bands invites soloists, bands and DJs aged from 12 to 30 years old to face-off in front of a live audience.
The competition is held as part of the Festival of Busselton, and the contest’s final on Saturday will coincided with the new event, Eats n Beats.
It will also be the first time the competition is held at the Busselton Foreshore Amphitheatre.
Cash prizes are on offer, and some entrant’s spots remain available for Friday night’s heat.
If you think you’ve got what it takes, register with youth@busselton.wa.gov.au to secure your spot in the line-up.
Battle of the Bands 2019 will be held on Friday, January 11, and Saturday. January 12, from 5pm.
Saturday night’s Eats n Beats will feature food stalls, markets and performers.
