The Busselton Trotting Club held two meetings in the one week with local pacer Captain Proud providing the crowd with barn storming finishes.
Captain Proud came from 30 metres behind to sizzle home to run second by a length, he followed that up on Friday night with another spirited finish to go one better defeating Alfs Odyssey by 8m.
He was driven by youngster Cory Peterson and trained by Kym Neal.
Another local Budd Sidewinder had his second win of the season, he settled perfectly in the box set and ran down Our Bobbydazzler to win by 2.6m.
Dylan Egerton-Green continued his running win steering Lil Rossie Lee to her first career victory when leading throughout.
The Mary Kulcsar trained Kamendable Lad strung two wins on the trot since coming to Busselton.
Driven by Joe Suvaljko on both nights the seven year old gelding was always in the first four horses, and with well timed runs, collected the chocolates.
Trainer Matthew Scott is having a good season with three wins and two places.
It was the second outing for newcomer Dagati Image, he settled in the breeze and ran down Adda Rockinheaven to score by a short half head.
Charlie El was driven to perfection by Shannon Suvaljko when settling just off the runaway leaders to pounce on the home turn defeating the fast finishing Captain Proud.
Leaders Henwood Bay driven by Ash Markham and Magical Mitch driven by Shannon Suvaljko would dictate terms upfront to score comfortable wins.
Classic Air for Bailey McDonough would be in the right place at the right time when the leader galloped and disorganized the field to win by 21m.
Adda Rockinheaven would salute for Dean Miller after some encouraging performances the same could be said for Emjay Twenty Three and Trent Wheeler after a win on Friday night.
Decipher This would start the week off on a good note for trainer driver Kaiden Hayter scoring by a length in the first.
