The call is out for young people in the Dunsborough, Eagle Bay and Yallingup region to showcase their talents on stage at next month’s annual X Factor contest.
Entries are now being accepted for X Factor, held over the March long weekend as part of the Dunsborough Arts Festival.
The competition is open to young people aged between seven and 18 who can sing, dance, act or play an instrument.
Budding comics, who want to test their ability to get a crowd laughing with their stand-up routines, also are being encouraged to enter.
X Factor coordinator Betty Huxtable said X Factor provided a great stage experience before an audience, and winners would be taking home cash prizes.
“The event gives local kids a chance to get up on stage, have a go and show the audience their special talent,” she said.
“It is a wonderful opportunity for the entrants to meet other budding performers and have some fun.
“And you never know where the X Factor could take you.”
Solo, duo and group acts are all welcome to enter.
All acts are given three minutes to perform their talent.
Entrants must be able to perform on the X Factor Stage in Dunsborough between 10am to noon on Sunday, March 3.
They must also be available to audition on the previous day if necessary.
Entries should be submitted, and the entrance fee of $10 paid, by Thursday, February 28.
