Naturaliste Game and Sportfishing Club’s biggest annual event, the Bluewater Classic, was hotly contested over the weekend.
Monster dhufish were reeled in by many but it was Mark Donachie who claimed honours with his 19.86 kilogram catch.
Jamie Basice caught the largest pink snapper at 4.46kg, while Peter Dillon nabbed the biggest groper at 14.92kg.
For land-based anglers, Dean Eggelston had a day out pulling in a 9.06kg mulloway. Jim Anthony had the largest salmon catch, weighing in at 1.0kg, and Sonia Perry scored the biggest whiting of the weekend, a 950 gram fish.
