Those thirsty for thrash-rock will soon be satisfied when DZ Deathrays hit Dunsborough as part of their Australia-wide regional tour.
The tour announcement comes off the back of an epic 2018 for the band, who released their third LP Bloody Lovely, got their third ARIA Award nomination, and toured Europe and South Africa.
It has almost been one year since the release of Bloody Lovely, which featured the popular track ‘Like People’.
The film clip for the single featured original Red Wiggle, Murray Cook, and was nominated for Australian Music Video of the Year by triple j.
This year, the band have already been busy. They made a quick trip over to LA to record a new album and will now be joined by long-time live band mate, Lachlan Ewbank, who has become the official third member of DZ Deathrays, joining original founders Shane Parsons and Simon Ridley.
DZ Deathrays, supported by Good Doogs, will perform at Dunsborough Tavern on March 3. For tickets, visit thedunsborough.com.au/whats-on.
