Any girls aged between 14 and 18 years are being encouraged to play and train with the Busselton Magpies Football Club youth side.
The women's team have been playing for two years and the club would like to get a female youth side up and running.
Player Michelle Moloney said two of their female players were selected to play for the AFL women's league in Perth last year and there were lots of opportunities for aspiring players.
"There is a lot of opportunity for the young girls starting out now to have that in their future." she said.
Girls aged under 14 aspiring to play were also invited to train with the team, with Ms Moloney saying there was already a young girl aged 10 training with the team.
"She is absolutely loving it and cannot wait to get into that age group to play, the younger the better we want them to get their skills up before they play," she said.
"We are a lot of fun and there are a few mothers in the older girls who always look after the younger girls."
Budding players can expect to learn a lot of skills training, fun sessions including beach training and building fitness.
Anyone who is interested in joining the team can go to the Facebook page Magpies Women's Footy or turn up to training which takes place every Tuesday and Thursday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm at the Sir Stewart Bovell Oval.
