Busselton styling sensation Carleen Foley has opened a clothing and home ware store on Prince Street after years of dreaming about the concept.
The former Block contestant said the idea came about through her love of home wares and fashion and she was finally able to open the store after finding the right location.
After renovating, styling and selling nine homes prior to appearing on the Block, Ms Foley said the experience had given her more insight into design and styling.
She loves to style and help people look better and will offer a personal styling experience at the store.
"The Block was wonderful to teach us that bit more and give us a more professional edge, especially when to put more in, when not to put more in and when to take something away so something stands out," she said.
"I am a great believer in every room needs a hero piece and every outfit needs something whether it be earings, or a belt or sunglasses or your lipstick.
"You just need something to brighten yourself up."
Ms Foley said The Block had really taught her how to present a home and had given her valuable skills in styling.
She is now excited to open her own store in Busselton, and admitted she has found the experience nerve wracking.
"Like The Block you are showcasing yourself and putting yourself out there and what you like, so it is all those exciting emotions with the nerves sitting behind them," she said.
"Hopefully people support us, with more support, the more variety and different things people will see."
In the store, expect to find clothing that is stylish, relaxed and easy in linens and cottons reflecting Ms Foley's own personal style, along with a number of black and white wares with splashes of colour.
"There are plenty of home wares to bring your place to life, especially on that coastal level with all those washed whites," she said.
"I do love a black and white palette with pops of colour to make your home feel welcoming and warm, especially with greenery all mixed in with it."
