Georgiana Molloy Anglican School head girl Hannah Bowden will advance to the district final of the Lions Youth of the Year competition after being named the region's overall winner on March 17.
Hannah was also named as the winner in the public speaking category at the event held in Busselton.
She will be joined by Waroona's Lincoln Hawke-Dufall, who also progressed to the next stage, at the district final in Fremantle on March 30.
It is the latest achievement for Year 12 student Hannah.
In January, she travelled to Prague for Crimson Education's Global Leaders Delegation and in November she took part in the Country to Canberra's Power Trip in the nation's capital.
The Lions Youth of the Year competition aims to encourage student interest in leadership and the qualities required to take an active role in the community.
Past winners of the event include Kevin Rudd, former Queensland premier Peter Beattie and Senator Simon Birmingham.
