King Of Concrete Bowl Skating Competition is set to go off this weekend at the Busselton Skate Park for its fourth year running.
Australia's top ranked skaters such as Zepp Heyes, Kieran Woolley, Bryce McKean and Marley Rae will go up against WA's best, skating for $5,000 in prize money and state title at Busselton's iconic bowl.
King Of Concrete draws skaters and spectators from all over Australia for the event at Busselton's professional-level skate park.
Event organiser Renton Millar said he was looking forward to an action packed weekend.
"This year we have such a rad group of skaters coming out so the contest will be next level. We are also seeing the level of WA skaters really stepping up," he said.
"It will be a great event to watch"
Australian National Skate Team member Kieran Woolley anticipated good times at Busselton.
"It looks like such a gnarly skate park, in such a rad location and I have heard so much about it and cannot wait to skate it," he said.
King Of Concrete is Australia's premier bowl skating series with events held all over Australia between November and April.
King Of Concrete will hold a street best trick competition on Friday at 7pm, and the bowl event will begin at 11am on Saturday, with age groups 9 and under, 12 and under, 16 and under, masters, women and open.
King Of Concrete is free to watch and $5 for entrants.
King Of Concrete Busselton is a done with the City of Busselton, Soggy Bones, and the Australian Skateboarding Federation.
