The Busselton Dunsborough Dungbeetles Rugby Club will host a WA Golden Oldies Rugby Carnival this weekend kicking off on Saturday, March 30.
The club will host nine rugby clubs from Perth at Barnard Park.
To qualify players must be aged 35 years and over and of sound body, mind and soul, the skills are still there, they just lack a bit of speed and stamina.
Teams will be visiting from Midland Puffing Billies, Mandurah Raw Prawns, Rockingham Rocking Chairs, Perth Wandering Pigs, Success Silver Lions, Palmyra Pigs, Wannaroo Olde Dogs, Irish Expats and the Joondalup Blues Brothers.
Rugby festivities will commence at 12.30pm on Saturday with the Junior Beetles under 12 year old's showcasing their skills against the Bunbury Barbarians.
At 12:50pm there will be a small service to honour past Dungbeetles players and supporters with the unveiling of a memorial shield.
The first game will kick off at 1pm with 40 minute games being played until 5pm.
