The Dunsborough Busselton Dungbeetles hosted nine rugby teams from the Perth metro area for a golden Oldies rugby carnival on Saturday at Barnard Park.
The weekend kicked off at a function on Friday evening to welcome the visiting teams to Busselton, bringing hundreds of people to the region from WA's rugby union community.
Dungbeetles legend David Bell played for his team at the age of 82 years, all the players took to the field to cheer Mr Bell on during a guard of honour.
To play in the carnival players must be aged 35 years or more, whenever players scored a try they were sent to the tin bin for a beer.
Mistakes cost players 10 push-ups on the field.
