The mud run for everyone will be back at Bootleg Brewery during the spring school holidays with a brand new date on Sunday, September 29 to guarantee a muddier course than ever before.
The South West Mudfest is achievable for all fitness levels,and this year will see the return of a course just for children. Mud lovers can choose from three entry options:
Mud Mayhem: For those who have not competed in a mud run before, this five to six kilometre course is the mud run for you.
Taking place in the paddocks surrounding Bootleg Brewery, this course is jam-packed with more than 30 obstacles designed to give participants a challenge while remaining fun and achievable.
Good times is the name of the game so have some fun, enjoy some laughs along the way and take it at your own pace. .
Kids Course: Returning in 2019, this 1 to 2 km course just for kids is the perfect way to introduce the little ones to the messy delights of Mudfest.
Muddy Paws Challenge: The Muddy Paws Challenge is a fun, safe, dog-friendly modified version of the 5-6 km Mud Mayhem course that will see your pooch dashing through the dirt, tackling paw-some obstacles and making a muddy mess.
The South West Mudfest is the mud run for everyone, where it is all about fun, family, not taking yourself too seriously, having a laugh, dressing up, perhaps achieving things you did not think were possible.
It is recommended for ages nine years and over, and the Kids Course has been specifically designed for ages five plus years.
Event manager Jack Rogers said with more mud than ever before, this year's South West Mudfest presented the perfect excuse to get down and dirty.
"The feedback we get from participants each year is just how much fun they have had," he said.
"Whether you're entering as an individual, a family or as a group of mates, the South West Mudfest really is a great day out for everyone.
"You do not need to be tough or have trained for months but we guarantee when you finish, you will have a massive sense of accomplishment."
This year's South West Mudfest will feature DJ music, a before and after muddy photo booth, and of course a clean shower and doggy rinse-off station.
With plenty of tasty food and drink options available at Bootleg Brewery, participants are also encouraged to bring their own picnic blanket and enjoy some post Mudfest relaxation in the sun.
Early bird tickets are priced lower than ever at just $44 plus a booking fee.
Groups or families of four people can register in one transaction for a further 10 per cent discount at just $160 plus a booking fee.
Each registrations includes your very own event t-shirt.
