The straight shooting Busselton Magpies women's team had a triumphant win over Harvey Brunswick Leschenault in round one of the South West Football League on Saturday.
It is the third year the Magpies have competed in the women's league with coach Matt Grosse hoping the team continue their winning streak to make the finals this year.
"The team did really well and kicked six straight goals, which is really good for us," he said.
"We have focused on kicking more goals, so it was a great result.
"We need to focus more on delivery, clean footy and getting our targets."
It was a straight goal in the first quarter kicked by the Magpies which put them in good stead for the game, with HBL missing three shots at goal.
The Magpies continued to swoop on the visiting team, kicking three goals in the second quarter, with the visitors missing another three shots at goal.
HBL's hard work started to pay off in the second half when they kicked two goals to the Magpies one, but it was not enough to push the team in front.
The Magpies responded by kicking a goal in the third and fourth quarters, keeping the home sidein front for the duration of the match.
The Magpies finished 6.0 (36) defeating HBL by 4.5-(29).
Rennie Sansom had an outstanding game kicking two goals during the match and was helped along by her team mates Beth Beckett, Ang Williamson, Estelle Dragstra and Emma Borinelli who also had outstanding games.
