In things golf dreams are made of, Busselton golfer Garth McNeil landed the perfect shot hitting a hole-in-one at the Par 3 Golf Course on Wednesday.
Making the magical shot on the first hole even more spectacular, Mr McNeil plays golf one-handed due to his limited ability caused by cerebral palsy.
His carer Peter Towie said Mr McNeil played golf at the course every week and he was stoked to make the shot.
"His disability does not stop him from playing the sports he loves," he said.
Mr McNeil recently won a bronze medal at the National Para Championships which saw some of Australia's best table tennis players compete at Murray-Bridge in South Australia.
Mr Towie said Mr McNeil played table tennis each week with the assistance of a support worker and travelled to Perth every Saturday to train at UWA.
Par 3 manager Matt Mansfield said it was pretty rare to hit a hole-in-one and Mr McNeil's was only the second one he had seen in the two years he had been working at the golf course.
"Most of the time when Garth comes into play he takes us to the cleaners," he said.
