The start of the Ironman 70.3 Busselton was delayed 30 minutes due to large swells and a storm front which moved across the South West of WA in the early hours of on Saturday. May 4.
There were 30 qualifying slots to the 2019 Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France to be secured at the Busselton event.
Craig Alexander claimed his second win at the Busselton 70.3 beating New Zealand's Mike Phillips and West Australian Matt Burton.
WA's Felicity Sheedy-Ryan was in a class of her own winning a third Busselton title.
