The Undalup Association hosted a Noongar Footy Legends Night in Busselton on Saturday to raise money for their community rangers program.
The evening was hosted by Noongar actor Kelton Pell and was attended by AFL greats Syd Jackson, Keith Narkle, Peter 'Buzz' Bosustow and Mark 'Jacko' Jackson.
Footy memorabilia donated by the AFL legends and Judy Grljusich, wife of late George Grljusich, were auctioned at the event.
Money raised from the evening will be used to send Undalup community rangers to join the Tangaroa Blue Foundation in Cape York.
The organisation coordinates the Australian Marine Debris Initiative, an on-ground network of volunteers, communities, institutions and agencies which monitor the impacts of marine debris along the Australian coastline.
Since the program started in 2004, more than 2 million pieces of marine debris have been removed from the Australian coastline.
The data is collated and entered into the AMDI database - an online resource used to identify the impact of marine debris in different areas and can assist tracking back to its source.
