Busselton Ladies' Golf held their annual Women's Foursomes Championships over the last two weeks, with defending champions Sharon Koch and Marion Fraser taking out the tournament.
This is the sixth time Koch and Fraser have taken out the title, determined the duo came in from third position after the first round to a winning total gross score of 175 after the final game.
Clear winners the champions were followed by Lesley Smirk and Jenny Shemeld who finished on 181.
Nett winners were Kerry Milligan and Deb Hocking, with a score of 146, Val Johnston and Peta Tearle were runners-up with a nett score of 150.
Daily gross winners were Tricia Jenkins and Sonja Kopke-Moore with 88 on day one and Lorraine Bentley and Judi Sutcliffe with 86 on day two.
Daily nett score winners were Marg Holmes and Trish Hancock with 74 on day one, and Verna Adams and Lila Kershaw with 69.5 on day two. This provided one of the highlights of the event, with Adams and Kershaw's average age of 83 years and their impressive nett score of 69.5 showing the younger members how it's done,
The 9-hole event winners were Lesley Tucker and Kathy Francis with a nett of 76.5, and runners-up Edie Rickwood and Gwen Nisbet with a nett 79.5.
Fifty-four participants played in the 18-hole event, and 12 in the 9-hole event. Congratulations to the winners, and thanks for everyone's support.
