In the second term, the shooting team of Maia Bratton and Yasmin Riley swapped roles which increased the attacking pace and with strong defence from Shukia Riley, they further surged ahead pushing the lead out to 31-16.
The Magpies brought in some fresh legs in the second half. Phoebe Pethybridge gave great pace and drive in the attacking line and with great feeds, the shooters continued to convert.
Nina Simonetti and Meg Bolton defended the Tigers goal third with great intent and forced the Tigers to turn the ball over allowing the Magpies to take out the game 61-33 at the final whistle.
The Magpies showed great teamwork, determination and versatility. Nina Simonetti was awarded the Health Freak Cafe player of the day for her grit and hard work.
This victory now places the Magpies in fourth place on the ladder.
In the Masters the game started out almost goal for goal with a lot of intercepting on both sides.

Everyone started to settle into the game and the coaching by Mandy Simonetti is starting to show results with the team finding cohesiveness.
