Jilyara is the creation of Wilyabrup winegrowers Craig Cotterell and his partner Maria Bergstrom who launched their label at the Wilyabrup Hall on Friday evening.
The family-owned and operated vineyard was first planted in 1996 by the Cotterell family who have grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc supplying other wineries in the Margaret River region.
Ms Bergstrom said this year they had taken the giant step to produce their own wine.
"It has been a long time coming, and now, finally, we are ready to release our beautiful, single vineyard Wilyabrup wine."
